What To Know About This Production

PEP Productions is excited to announce auditions for the Off-Broadway fairy tale hit, DISENCHANTED, coming to the Doncaster Playhouse this February.

Poisoned apples. Glass slippers. Who needs ’em?! Not Snow White and her posse of disenchanted princesses in the hilarious musical that is anything but Grimm. Forget the princesses you think you know, when these royal renegades toss off their tiaras, this hilariously subversive, not-for-the-kiddies musical cleverly reveals what really happened ‘ever after’!

Auditions For Disenchanted!

What To Expect At Auditions

DISENCHANTED requires a diverse cast with strong vocals and impeccable comedic timing.

Please prepare one character song and one contrasting song in the style of the show that showcases your vocal range, acting ability and comedic timing. No songs from DISENCHANTED will be accepted at auditions.

Please choose an appropriate starting place in your song/s and note that the panel may not need to hear all of your pieces. You may not be required to sing both songs but please be prepared if the production team requests. Auditionees may be required to take part in a vocal range exercise and a cold read of the script.

Please bring sheet music (in the correct key) in a folder ready for the piano accompanist. Backing tracks cannot be used for this audition. The vocal audition should take approximately ten minutes. Please arrive with enough time to adequately prepare yourself.

Please attach your performance CV as well as your headshot to your Cast98 profile. 

Auditionees must be at least 18 years of age at the time of their audition.

Callbacks will be held Wednesday 13 November, 7:30pm onwards
