What To Know About This Production

Low Key Chaos is a new mythological musical where gods gossip, plots thicken, and chaos reigns supreme.

When Loki, the Norse god of mischief, accidentally stumbles into Olympus, he finds a pantheon ripe for disruption. Inspired - and irritated - by the wild and adored Dionysus, Loki teams up with the ever-vengeful Hera to bring the party god crashing down.

But in a realm of wine, revelry, and whispered prophecy, nothing is ever as it seems. As schemes unfold and divine egos clash, the question lingers: Will Dionysus rise again, or will chaos claim the crown?

Packed with sharp wit, larger-than-life characters, and an original score set to raise the heavens, Low Key Chaos is a riotous blend of mythology, mayhem, and modern mischief.

What To Expect At Auditions

Auditions:

18th Oct. - 11:30am- 4pm - General acting, singing and dancing

18th Oct. - 4pm - 5:30pm - Specialist dance

Venue:

Melbourne Dance Company,
35 Nevin Drive, Thomastown VIC 3074
(Northern Metro Suburbs).

*Please arrive early to ensure independent warm up is done.

Prepare the following:

  • Two (2) 150 word/1 min. monologues, (1) comedic, (1) emotional;
  • One song from a musical that showcases your vocal range.

Bring one printed headshot (can be a selfie,) a water bottle and food/snacks for the day.

Please wear comfortable clothing, closed toe footwear e.g., runners, and jazz shoes (if already owned, do not buy new jazz shoes.)
