What To Expect At Auditions
Who can audition?
Any KAS High School Student.
What will the audition be like?
This will be a cold read audition. This means that we will have you read sides to the script with others. You will have time to view them but you can always do some research on the play ahead of time.
What do I do when I arrive? Check in with the stage manager. They will give you further directions.
How long will it take? This depends on how many people sign up to audition. Allow around 30 minutes.
What else should I know?
This show is split into smaller scenes that do not depend on one another. If you play sports: that's ok! We can block and practice a few times after a practice and then after AISA pick up rehearsals and then combine all the scenes together. This play was specifically selected to allow the most flexibility with scheduling for the very first HS play in awhile. The only thing the director asks is that you be flexible as well. If you want to make this work out you absolutely can! Be committed and you will have an excellent time doing this funny play.
