Situated within the cultural reserve in Greenslopes Street, Cairns, the RONDO theatre is a comfortable air-conditioned performing space that can be configured either ‘in the round’ or as a thrust stage. The seating is raked and there is room for 191 patrons. Run by Cairns Little Theatre Inc, this community theatre has been pleasing audiences for 70 years, 40 of which have ben at the RONDO theatre. Each year there is a Season of Plays, consisting of 4 or 5 main productions, ranging from Australian plays, to period pieces and British pantomimes.
