Blackout Theatre Company, has been entertaining Western Sydney for over a decade under the name of Blacktown City Community Theatre. After 15 years – 2 name changes later we have rebranded ourselves, gotten a snazzy new logo and are taking a fresh approach to community theatre!
Blackout Theatre Company offers members of the Greater Western Sydney community the opportunity to perform and work behind the scenes helping create the wonderful productions we produce giving young members of our community the opportunity to embrace the performing arts in the fields of drama, dance and music.
Blackout has been a platform for many young performers who just needed the chance to shine who have then gone on to study Music and Drama at AIM and NIDA, we have also supported performing artist Melanie Driver on her journey toward the X-Factor in 2015.
At Blackout Theatre Company there is a place for everyone and we welcome all who are passionate to join our endeavor.
